Christmas Celebrations Round Off A Successful 2018

Law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP has celebrated a hugely successful 2018 by hosting a drinks reception for clients and professional contacts at its Dorchester office in Queen Mother Square, Poundbury.

New faces at Blanchards Bailey in 2018 have included Associate, Elinor Davies, who has joined the Commercial Property team to work on all aspects of commercial and rural property. The firm also welcomed solicitors Stacey Brooker, who is a commercial property specialist with particular expertise in secured lending and development work, and Helen Matthews, who specialises in Wills, Tax and Estate Planning, including all aspects of Powers of Attorney.

Blanchards Bailey have been nominated as finalists in all six categories they entered in the prestigious 2019 Dorset Legal Awards, including Law Firm of the Year (50-99 staff).

Another sign of the firm’s continued success is recognition by The Legal 500 as one of the top firms in the UK for the fourth-year running, listed for a record seven categories with eleven individual lawyers recommended. For the first time all five Partners, Alan Horne, Jerome Dodge, Sarah Heath, Paul Dunlop and Ian Campbell received individual recognition.

The firm is heavily involved in community work. The Poundbury office recently raised £1,000 for Sustainable Dorset with a cycle race night at Bryanston School, near Blandford, while the firm also renewed its partnership with Dorset’s rural touring arts organisation Artsreach and continued its sponsorship of the Taste of Dorset Awards.
