Experience and credentials
Sonya joined Blanchards Bailey as our Reception Manager in 2014, although prior to starting with us, she had already gained several years of law firm and secretarial experience.
Sonya held her role as Reception Manager for six years before seizing the opportunity to join our Private Client Department. She begain as a Legal Secretary in January 2020 and has since progressed to the role of Private Client Assistant.
Today, Sonya works alongside James Duncan, Associate, supporting Probate and Estate Administration matters. Her extensive experience continues to enhance her growing knowledge and practical skills in this area.

Sonya is a valued member of the Private Client Department team and is approachable and has a great deal of empathy. She enjoys helping and supporting other people and takes a great deal of personal pride in what she does. She’s extremely organised and prioritises her workload accordingly, ensuring she provides an efficient service in a timely manner, maintaining a professional attitude throughout. Client satisfaction and proactivity are her top priorities.
