Sophia qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and brings many years of dedicated experience in Employment Law. She advises both employers and employees across a wide range of workplace issues, acting for small family-run businesses, national companies, senior executives and individual employees.

She provides expert guidance and training on a broad range of employment matters, including hiring and onboarding, managing risks in employee discipline and dismissals, capability and performance management, workplace investigations into alleged harassment or discrimination, wage compliance, absence management, redundancy implementation, and advising on settlement agreements.

Sophia also advises on employment-related data protection compliance, and regularly collaborates with Blanchard Bailey's Commercial and Agricultural teams on matters where employment and business law intersect. She reports directly to Paul Dunlop, Managing Partner.

Known for combining technical knowledge with a down-to-earth approach, Sophia provides clear and practical advice that focuses on protecting her clients' interests. Her goal is to resolve disputes in a timely manner while minimising cost, stress and disruption.
