What’s your area of expertise?
I am a principal of the firm, the Head of Litigation and Disputes and the head of our agriculture team. I am also recognised by The Legal 500 as a recommended individual in my field. I have experience and expertise in all civil litigation matters, such as issuing court proceedings, mediation, arbitration, negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, issuing insolvency proceedings and enforcement of Judgments. I advise clients on contract disputes, negligence claims, debt recovery, nuisance claims, boundary disputes, building disputes, Consumer Rights Act claims and specialise in landlord and tenant disputes and Probate and Inheritance Act claims. I am a member of the Agricultural Law Association and the Country Land and Business Association.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I help people resolve their legal issues so they are able to move on from an impasse which has stifled them or their business and caused immense stress and worry. I enjoy finding answers to legal issues and providing practical, sensible and clear advice so that my clients can obtain a satisfactory resolution as quickly as possible.
What makes you tick?
I am motivated to succeed in all areas of my life and in everything I do. I challenge and push myself to overcome hurdles and problems which may not seem possible at first glance. I consider every new instruction as a new challenge and I do all I can to obtain the best possible result for our clients by finding solutions to complex legal problems. Outside of work I complete and enjoy participating in Ironman distance triathlon races and other gruelling physical challenges.
