Experience and credentials
Brook is a Trainee Solicitor in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, specialising in contentious trust and probate, as well as property dispute matters. She joined Blanchards Bailey in January 2023, initially as a Trainee Legal Secretary in our Private Client Services team, before progressing to a Trainee Legal Assistant role. In that position, Brook supported the team across a wide range of probate and private client matters, including estate planning, estate administration, Will drafting and Lasting Power of Attorney matters.
Brook later secured a position with the firm as a trainee solicitor and is working towards qualification via the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. She passed SQE1 in January 2025 and has recently sat SQE2. Brook's strong academic background and diverse experience across multiple practices, including probate, residential property, Court of Protection, agricultural and commercial property, and litigation has enabled her to develop a well-rounded approach to dispute resolution and reinforced her ambition as a solicitor specialising in litigation. Brook is due to qualify into the litigation team in February 2026.
Brook has practical experience in contentious probate and trust-related disputes, including Inheritance Act claims, Will rectification applications, TOLATA claims and executor disputes. She is now expanding her practice within civil and property litigation, covering debt recovery, contractual and money claims, boundary disputes, easements, restrictive covenants and lease disputes.
Brook holds a First-Class Honours law degree from the University of Westminster and a Master’s degree in Law with Distinction from Queen Mary University of London.
Brook reports to Lucy Mignot, Partner and Head of Contentious Trusts and Probate, and Ben Jones, Partner and Head of Commercial and Property Litigation.
