Experience and credentials
Sophie is a Senior Associate with many years of experience in complex Court of Protection matters, deputyship and trustee applications, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the management of trusts and personal affairs.
Sophie heads the Court of Protection department and manages a dedicated team of specialists, all of whom are experienced in various aspects of the Court of Protection. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2023.
Her extensive knowledge of mental capacity law, combined with her years of experience, equips Sophie with a unique understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals. She reports to Jerome Dodge, Partner and Head of Private Client Services.
Sophie is a member of The Professional Deputies Forum, an Accredited Member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers and a Dementia Friend.
She was shortlisted for The Access Legal Modern Law Awards Lawyer of the Year 2024.
