Award-winning law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP has had its place among the elite firms in the South West confirmed for the eighth successive year by the Legal 500, the independent guide to legal firms and solicitors in the UK.
The latest edition of the go-to annual publication, The Legal 500 2023, endorses the firm in all areas it undertakes, with 11 individual lawyers receiving recommendations and mentions.
This shows that the medium sized Blanchards Bailey, headquartered in Blandford with offices in Dorchester, Shaftesbury and Weymouth, is providing legal advice and a service to match, with the south west’s largest law firms.
The Legal 500 is one of the primary directories of law firms in the UK. The guide is independently and impartially revised and updated every year as part of client feedback and a comprehensive research programme, including 40,000 contributions.
Blanchards Bailey has been listed in seven categories: Private Client – Agricultural & Estate; Dispute Resolution – Commercial Litigation, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall; Employment – Dorset, Devon and Cornwall; Private Client – Contentious Trusts & Probate; Private Client – Personal Tax, Trusts & Probate; Private Client – Family and Real Estate – Commercial Property – Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
Eleven colleagues – Partners Paul Dunlop, Jerome Dodge, Laura Martin, Ben Jones and Lucy Mignot, plus Sarah Dunlop, Jane Cordner, Stephen Woodman, Catherine Roberts, Sophie Lawrence and Julie Keogh were all individually recommended for their work.
Blanchards Bailey Managing Partner Paul Dunlop said: “We are truly humbled to have been recognised in the Legal 500 for the eighth consecutive year. We have an exceptional, skilled and diligent team whose continued hard work has made us the firm we are today.
“Our inclusion in the independent and impartial Legal 500 guide is thanks to valued clients who made the effort to offer feedback and be interviewed about us and the service they received – a sure sign that we are doing things right.
“We are also pleased to have again been ranked alongside many of the South West’s major law firms such as Clarke Wilmott, Trethowans, Womble Bond Dickinson, Lester Aldridge, Ashfords and Foot Anstey.
“Second-to-none client service remains at the forefront of our goals – ranging from always answering the phone within 10 seconds to regularly going that extra mile to ensure any job is done properly and wholly professionally. That said, we will not be resting on our laurels but striving to continually improve.”
